Ember
In a world consumed by darkness, only a single ember remains. You play as that fragile spark, navigating through a silent black-and-blue cave, searching for the way to bring warmth back to life.
Ember is a short but meaningful puzzle-platformer built for the Game Changers Coalition Global Game Jam (UNICEF). It blends simple mechanics with atmosphere, reminding us that even in the darkest times a small spark can bring hope.
The game’s art style is intentionally minimalist, a lone glow against emptiness, symbolizing how resilience and hope stand out even when the world feels lost
Controls & Mechanics :
1. A / D -> Move left & right
2. E ->Interact (with torches or machines)
3. Q -> Teleport between lit torches
Teleportation works in a chain system :If you light up Torch 1 and Torch 2 -> you can move back and forth between them. If you light up a third Torch -> teleportation cycles like a loop: 1->2->3->1 and so on.
This is our story : even the smallest light is worth protecting, because it can grow into something greater.
